we saved this birdy from a bunch of cats!!it smell like it bathed in a bowl of car oil or tranny fluid.it was so drenched it barly could hop.see kittys up to something we took a tooth brush with dawn dishsoap clean it and within a half hr it fly away!!!

since i had no money or desire to invest in a birdthat was clearly suffering by someone elses carelessness i called the animal hospital to ask what to do..in which they sudjested a soft tooth brush and the soap so thats what we did..i would never had done something that would harm the poor bird..

That wa ssweet of you but washing the bird with dish detergent and a toothbrush could have cost it its life.
